Via Collective is proud to announce that we will be working on the wayfinding program for the Metro-North Enhanced Station Initiative. After a successful implementation of the New York City Transit Enhanced Station Initiative in 31 subway stations, the Metropolitan Transit Authority is expanding the scope to add six Metro-North stations in White Plains, Riverdale, Port Chester, Harlem, Crestwood, and Yonkers. This design-build project led by Halmar International, includes enhancements to the station architecture as well as the signage.
Via Collective is working with Arup to coordinate the locations, messaging and infrastructure needs for a comprehensive wayfinding program. We will be developing a site-specific wayfinding strategy coordinated with new architectural design elements and following the Metro-North signage standards and guidelines.
