C2Smart @ NYU Tandon School of Engineering
Interior Wayfinding
NYU Tandon School of Engineering received grant funding for a new transportation technology lab called C2Smart. This required a new brand, as well as environmental graphics and wayfinding to highlight lab-specific spaces and cubicles throughout a shared floor on the Brooklyn campus. A variety of icons were created to represent the core themes of the lab: Data, Technology, Transportation, Adaptability, Cities, and Connections. These icons were then turned into wall graphics to be used throughout the space, integrating words that focus on the research components. Additionally, wayfinding signage was developed to connect to the branding and increase awareness of the overall footprint of the lab.
