Via Collective is pleased to join Dattner Architects on the design of a long-awaited new NYPD station house for the 116th precinct, part of the NYC Department of Design and Construction’s Design Excellence program. The station house will serve to reduce response times in the neighborhood and act as a connector between the department and the public, positioned between the residential neighborhood and Long Island Rail Road Rosedale Station entrance featuring a community room and public open space. Via Collective will be designing exterior pedestrian and vehicular signage, interior graphics, wayfinding, and code compliance signage, including key opportunities for the community room and NYPD identity signage.
