After designing the original brand and office wayfinding for the newly-established C2Smart transportation technology lab within NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering’s Department of Civil and Urban Engineering, Via Collective is pleased to announce we will be working with Mitchell Giurgola Architecture in developing wayfinding and signage for their new offices in Roger’s Hall. For the brand identity, we designed a variety of icons to represent the core themes of the lab: Data, Technology, Transportation, Adaptability, Cities, and Connections. These graphics were applied as environmental graphics and layered with type focusing on the lab’s research components. We look forward to recreating this graphic language in the new offices and designing a seamless wayfinding system across the floor.
