As this year comes to a close, we want to express our gratitude to our colleagues, clients, and partners. Through these collaborations, we have created strong wayfinding solutions focused on accessibility and inclusivity in this ever-evolving world. We had a number of multi-year projects that reached completion, and a roster of new, exciting projects starting up in 2024. Read on for details and check out our website in the coming months for updates!
THE APPROACH
Via Collective has continued to create and collaborate through the lens of empathy, inclusivity, and curiosity. We were recognized at the Transform Awards for the transformative solutions our team is capable of. We continued our mission to “connect people to places through design” as we strive to consider the impact wayfinding has on the customer experience throughout the entire design process. Our dedication to inclusive design has broadened our client’s awareness of their visitors and user groups to design solutions that meet the needs of all users. Katie Osborn’s piece for Transform Magazine about what wayfinding is and isn’t, and our beliefs of how wayfinding best serves the customer experience, continues to bring curiosity to the bounds and potential of wayfinding, creating stronger user experiences and connections to brands.
THE WORK
As we look back on this year, our team executed thoughtful and innovative wayfinding systems across a variety of market sectors including the Martin Scorsese Virtual Production Center at Industry City, Penn Station, Public Prep, an all-girls charter school in the Bronx, Grand Central Madison, Roosevelt Island, and the NYPA Reimagine the Canals Initiative in Upstate New York.
2024 AND BEYOND
As we look ahead to 2024, our roster of projects and business partners continues to grow! New collaborations with Parsons are expanding our aviation sector and campus work continues to grow working with Diller Scofidio + Renfro, Manual Creative, and HOOD DESIGN.
